Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Crust:
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 1012 full sheets)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • For the Topping:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup crushed peanut butter cookies or brittle for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined and creamy.
  3. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping into the peanut butter mixture until no streaks remain.
  4. Assemble the Pie: Pour the peanut butter filling into the chilled graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  5. Chill: Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm.
  6. Prepare Whipped Cream Topping: In a cold bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Just before serving, pipe or spread the whipped cream over the chilled pie. Sprinkle with crushed peanut butter cookies or brittle. Slice and serve cold.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese and peanut butter are at room temperature for a smoother, lump-free filling.

For best results, chill the pie overnight to allow it to set completely and achieve optimal sliceability.

Use a good quality creamy peanut butter for the richest and most authentic flavor.

The pie can be made up to 2 days in advance, storing it covered in the refrigerator.
