Brushed with a savory butter topping and baked until golden, these sliders present a warm, inviting appetizer or light meal with a harmonious blend of ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns (such as Hawaiian sweet rolls)
  • 6 slices deli turkey breast
  • 6 slices deli turkey ham
  • 6 slices cooked turkey bacon
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds or everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Carefully slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping them connected if they come in a sheet. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer the bottom buns with deli turkey breast, followed by deli turkey ham, and then the cooked turkey bacon.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Mix well to coat. Spread the coleslaw mixture evenly over the turkey bacon layer.
  5. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the coleslaw.
  6. In another small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture evenly over the tops of the buns.
  7. Sprinkle with poppy seeds or everything bagel seasoning.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the sliders are heated through.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.

Prepare the sliders ahead of time and refrigerate. Add the butter topping and bake just before serving.

Adjust the sweetness or tanginess of the coleslaw to your preference.
